Tour de Walkshire

Journeys End -The Humber Foreshore
A big thank you to all my generous supporters & sponsors for raising a total of £527 for Yorkshire Cancer Research. I have walked 181 miles a little more than my target of 158 miles – twice the length of the Yorkshire Wolds Way which starts & ends at the Humber Bridge.
There were 819 participants in the Tour de Walkshire who completed 60,054 miles and raised over 122,000 so far.
There is still a little time to help people in Yorkshire survive cancer by following this link:

Thank you again for saving lives

Rachel Underwood moves to W2Y

After over 20 years of working in the hotel industry in Hull (from the then Jarvis International Grange Park to Lazaat and then the Village Hotel) I am excited and delighted to be moving on and taking up a post at Welcome to Yorkshire – starting week commencing 5th July.
My role is Memberships Manager – Hull & East Yorkshire so I will still be very much involved in the industry I love and I will be working with businesses across Yorkshire as we ‘Reopen, Recover and Rebuild’ from the pandemic.
My aim is to work with you all in order to promote, grow the visitor economy and firmly put Hull and East Yorkshire on the map as a place to ‘Visit, Live, Work and Study’.
